Torsten joined ZF Friedrichshafen AG in 2016 as Senior Vice President Advanced Engineering. Since 2019 he is leading the System House Autonomous Mobility System and the product line High-Performance Computer (HPC) at ZF. In April 2024 Torsten took over the position of Executive Vice President for ZF´s worldwide Corporate R&D, Innovation and Technology division.
Before joining ZF, Torsten worked for AUDI AG over a period of 15 years in various high-level positions: E/E, ADAS, AD and car safety.
Torsten holds a Master of Electrical Engineering, a Master of Law LL.M for M&A as well as an MBA from Henley Business School.
Over time Torsten has gathered long lasting and broad OEM and Tier1 experience. He is currently reshaping ZF corporate R&D with a specific technological focus on AI, digital development, and automotive software as well as future mechatronics systems over the three market segments of pass car, commercial vehicle and industrial applications.
