As Senior Vice President, Dr. Christian Hort is responsible for the Automotive segment at T-Systems International GmbH. With his international Magenta Automotive Team in Europe, the USA, Latin America, and China, he drives key industry topics such as Software-defined Vehicles, Industrial Metaverse, Connectivity, and the operation and modernization of complex IT Landscapes. Customers can rely on the expertise of 4.000 ICT professionals worldwide and include OEMs such as Mercedes-Benz & Daimler Trucks, Volkswagen, BMW, Stellantis, and leading suppliers, e.g. Continental, Schaeffler, Vitesco and Bosch.

During the first 9 years of his career, Hort held various positions in development, corporate strategy and sales at the Liechtensteinbased fastening specialist Hilti AG. After that, the Doctor of Economics moved to the automotive supplier industry at Harman International. There he held various managerial positions in global sales for over 9 years. In his last position as General Manager he was responsible for Harman’s cross-divisional global business for Daimler AG.
