Dr. Gunnar Armbrecht has been studying Electrical Engineering with focus on Communication and High Frequency Engineering at the Leibniz University Hannover. He received his PhD in the field of antenna technology for radar applications in industrial process measurement in 2010.
Since 2011, he has been working for Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co. KG. The focus of his work as a research engineer was in the field of signal integrity and EMV. From 2012 to mid-2015, he was a team leader for Advanced Engineering.
Currently, he is the Deputy Head of R&D and as a Director R&D responsible for all Automotive R&D activities. This includes the support of product development in the field of Automotive data connectors as well as e-mobility solutions with a team of experts in multiphysics simulations, such as RF, SI, EMC, ther - mal-electric, structural quasi-static mechanics and dynamic stress analysis.
