Dr. Peng is the co-founder and CEO of Pony.ai, a leading global autonomous driving technology company. He is passionate about bringing great people together to solve the challenges of the future of mobility. Under Dr. Peng’s leadership, Pony.ai has quickly become a global industry leader and has launched autonomous driving fleets across the globe.

Pony.ai’s leading position in the autonomous vehicle space has been recognized: Pony.ai was ranked #10 on the CNBC Disruptor 50 2022 list of the 50 most innovative and disruptive companies; in June 2023, Pony.ai was recognized by XPRIZE and Bessemer Venture Partners on their inaugural list of the world’s top 100 private deep tech companies, ranking #12 globally. In February 2024, Dr. Peng was named to Silicon Valley Business Journal’s “2024 Silicon Valley Power 100” list.

Prior to co-founding Pony.ai, Dr. Peng worked at Baidu and Google for 11 years. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, a master’s degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo and a B.S. from Tsinghua University.
